Will You Be Someone's Angel This Christmas?

Your help can bring a smile to a child's face on Christmas morning! Each year, thousands of "Angels" in Broward County are adopted by generous people just like you.

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program serves local families who are struggling to make ends meet. Whether they've recently lost a job or are facing an unexpected crisis, your support ensures their children can experience the joy of the holiday season.

Why Angel Tree?

Because every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. For families facing financial hardship, the holiday season can bring stress and worry. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides hope and relief to these struggling parents, ensuring their children have a magical Christmas.

Last year in our community alone, the Angel Tree program provided gifts for over 3,000 children. Thanks to the support of generous donors, we bring joy to families throughout our community year after year.

How the Program Works

Assisting Families in Need: We open an application process for parents and guardians with children ages twelve and under who reside in our service area. The Salvation Army thoroughly screens all applicants to ensure we are assisting those with the greatest need.

Creating a Wish List: Once a child is accepted as an "Angel," their Christmas wish list—including specific clothing sizes and toy requests—is shared with donors.

Making Wishes Come True: Donors like you purchase new clothing and toys from the list. These gifts are then organized by volunteers and distributed to families the weekend before Christmas.

How You and Your Organization Can Help Adopting an Angel is simple!

Commit: Let us know how many Angels your company, church, or group would like to adopt.

Select: We will send you a private web link to view your Angels' wish lists and sizes, making shopping easy.

Give: Drop off the new, unwrapped gifts at a designated location with the Angel’s tag included.

The Salvation Army will schedule a pickup for donation commitments of 25 or more Angels. You may also drop off gifts.

Your Gift Makes a Difference

Every family accepted into the program receives gifts and clothing for their children, as well as all the items needed for a special Christmas breakfast and dinner. Your generosity provides a complete holiday experience.
