Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.

Food Insecurity

The Salvation Army of Broward County is making a positive impact in the lives of many by providing essential food assistance programs, including Community Meals and Thanksgiving initiatives, to support the homeless community. In Broward County, 210,540 individuals face hunger-related challenges, with a significant number of them being children. By stepping up to address this issue, we can work towards making a difference in the lives of these 79,620 young ones currently experiencing food insecurity.

Food Pantry

Every Thursday, from 9 am to 12 pm, our pantry opens its doors for a convenient, contactless drive-thru pickup service.

Community Meals

As part of our ongoing commitment, we host free daily community dinners from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm, providing a lifeline to those in need.
